Social Irrigation Presented by EMC Insurance Companies is the new brand for our summer-long, Thursday evening series. The Botanical Garden will be open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays beginning mid-June. Bring your friends and join us weekly for an evening full of live music, food and botanical atmosphere. Trellis Café will be open with small plates and your favorite beverage. From classical, jazz and blues music as well as craft beers and lawn games, we're confident this new Botanical Garden programming will have something for everyone!

Is there an admission fee?
Botanical Garden members get in FREE! Seasonal cost of admission applies to all others ($8 for adults; $7 for senior citizens 65+; $7 for military personnel; $6 for students ages 4-17 and children 3 and under are free).
Is there a way to save on tickets?
Yes! Purchase your tickets online in advance and enter the code GETSOCIAL to save $1.
What time does the music start?
The band goes on at 5:45, but you're invited to arrive early, grab your food and drink and find a seat.
What is there to eat and drink?
Trellis Cafe will be open until 8 p.m. serving both small plates and entrees, along with beer, wine and a weekly featured cocktail. Enjoy your food in the cafe, or order it to-go so you can take it outside and listen to the music! Click here for the menu.
Where can I buy food and drinks?
Trellis Cafe (inside the building) will be serving both food and drinks you can enjoy either indoors or out; there is also a bar on the Ruan Allee for beverages only.
I just want to go to Trellis. Do I have to pay?
No -- there is no charge to access Trellis only.
Can I bring my own food and alcohol?
No, outside food and alcohol are not permitted. You may bring baby food, bottles, etc.
Is this a kid-friendly event?
Yes! Social Irrigation is perfect for a family outing.

Do you have seating?
We have plenty of chairs set up near the musicians available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Do you move indoors if it's going to rain?
Yes, we'll move into the DuPont room off of the Dorothy and Max Rutledge Conifer Garden.
Where are the bathrooms?
Bathrooms are located to the right as you enter the building, and also inside the doors near the Bankers Trust Terrace and Dorothy and Max Rutledge Conifer Garden. Be sure to grab a map as you arrive for easy wayfinding.
Are you bike-friendly?
Yes! We are located right off the bike trail and have bike parking (along with plenty of cold drinks...)
