Join us for a film screening of Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf, followed by a tour of the Botanical Garden. The film immerses viewers in the creative process of Piet Oudolf, the revolutionary landscape designer behind New York’s High Line Garden and Chicago’s Lurie Garden in Millennium Park. Through beautiful visual imagery, the documentary takes you inside Oudolf’s work, from abstract sketches, to theories on beauty, to the ecological implications of his ideas.
Following the 75 minute film Kelly Norris, director of horticulture and education, will lead a tour through the Botanical Garden exploring concepts shown in the film. Light refreshments will be available for purchase during the screening.
