Designed for first- through fifth-graders. Discover the fascinating plants and animals that lurk in the depths of tropical rainforest using our lush conservatory as a guide. This is a one-day camp offered multiple days over winter break. These camps are identical, so there’s no need to register for more than one.

This camp is also offered Tuesday, December 27 and Thursday, December 29.

NEW this year we have a camp for students in sixth through eighth grade, Tropical Adaptations Friday, December 30.

Looking for a “sweet” family activity for New Years Eve? Register for our Chocolate Chat family workshop!

This workshop is available Saturday December 31 from 10:30-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-1:45 p.m.

Have fun learning about chocolate and eating it too! See the cacao tree in our conservatory, learn how chocolate is made, indulge in a chocolate taste, and make your own batch of delicious hot chocolate mix. These hands-on workshops offer a fun, creative experience for youth and an adult to build a take-home project together.

For ages 5-14 and an adult. One adult is required for every three youth participants. Registration required.
