Wells Fargo Rose Garden

The Wells Fargo Rose Garden, a modern front-yard potager, features a collection of shrub roses seasonally interplanted with herbs and edibles. A border of arborvitaes and sugar maples adjacent to the geometric rose beds serves as a screen to the building with a detailed spring understory — drifts of early-flowering daffodils, Galanthus nivalis (snowdrops) and Liriope spicata (lilyturf), among others.

The rose collection features a number of varieties developed by the late Iowa State University horticulture professor Dr. Griffith Buck and other contemporary cultivars that thrive in our Midwestern conditions.

The rose garden is made possible through the generosity of Wells Fargo Foundation.
