How do I become a member?
Memberships are available to purchase online, at the front desk at the Botanical Garden or by emailing email@example.com.
How long does it take to receive my digital membership card?
Digital membership cards will arrive via email provided. Your membership is activated as soon as the purchase is made. If it has been more than 2 weeks since your order and you have not received your digital card, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. *Details below on how to download your digital membership card.
Managing a Membership
Can I change the name on my membership after purchase?
Yes, if you wish to change the name on your card, please email email@example.com.
When will my membership expire?
Your expiration date is printed on your digital membership card. Memberships are valid for one year from the month you purchased it. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 515.323.6265 if you have questions about your expiration date.
How can I upgrade my membership?
Memberships may be upgraded at any time by paying the difference between the current level and the higher level. Upgrades do not change the expiration date. Please visit the Garden, email email@example.com or call 515.323.6265 to upgrade.
How do I cancel my membership?
You may discontinue your membership at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Membership fees are nonrefundable.
What is the tax deductibility of memberships?
In compliance with IRS regulations, membership is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Federal Tax ID: 42-0540765
Gifting a Membership
How can I give a gift membership?
You may purchase a gift membership online, at the front desk at the Botanical Garden or by emailing email@example.com.
Do you send membership materials directly to the gift recipient?
All membership materials are mailed directly to the recipient at the address provided. This will be the first notice they receive about the gift unless you share the news with them first (we do not send email notifications).
Do you have a flexible start date on gift memberships?
No, the gift membership is valid for one year from the month it is purchased.
Digital Membership Cards FAQ
How do I add the digital membership card to my iPhone?
Access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” button, then click “Add to Wallet” and “Add.” The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. It can be accessed in Wallet at any time.
How do I add the digital membership card to my Android phone?
Android users need to download Wallet Passes from Google Play. After you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click “Download” in the membership email, and the card will automatically go to your Wallet Passes app, where it can be accessed at any time.
I’d prefer not to use this digital membership card. What should I do?

My family member is on this membership account also. How can she/he receive the card?
For Android users, navigate to the back of the card (click the small “i” on the front) and use the “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member. For iPhone users, you will find the share icon at the top right of the Digital Card.
I downloaded my card, but I can’t find it.
If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card (scroll through any cards that are already there–it may be hiding!). If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store prior to downloading the card.
